About Me
I am a Machine Learning Engineer and an AI researcher with a B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from RUET.
My central research objective is advancing reasoning capabilities within Large Language Models and Generative AI systems. To achieve this overarching goal, my work explores:
- (a) refining internal model logic and alignment through contrastive signals;
- (b) grounding reasoning processes using Knowledge Graph-integrated Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks; and
- (c) designing autonomous, multi-agent orchestration systems to execute multi-step reasoning tasks.

Future Explorations
I am currently exploring the following areas:
Music Information Retrieval (MIR)
I am fascinated by the structural complexities of music and plan to explore self-supervised representation learning within Music Information Retrieval. My goal is to investigate how generative models can capture the hierarchical nature of audio signals, enabling more intuitive music generation and cross-modal reasoning.
Financial Reasoning via Preference Optimization
Leveraging my sentiment analysis background, I am exploring how Direct Preference Optimization (DPO) can enhance financial reasoning in vision-language models. Unlike conventional fine-tuning (which often degrades multimodal capabilities), DPO-based methods promise to preserve cross-modal understanding while boosting domain-specific performance even in smaller language models.
Multi-Agent Story Generation
Building on my Bangla text generation experience, I am curious on novel frameworks where specialized agents collaborate to structure narratives. This approach targets the discourse incoherence and hallucination common in single-model systems, maintaining creative flexibility through controlled multi-agent orchestration.
I would love to discuss my research and any opportunities! Feel free to email me at rakib.ruet.cs@gmail.com
Outside of work, I enjoy testing my predictive intuition on Fantasy Premier League, capturing moments as a hobbyist photographer, and writing short stories and poetry.
